We’ve partnered with Match as their exclusive premium matchmaking service, and we’re growing rapidly across the U.S. Headquartered in Los Angeles, we offer matchmaking in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, San Jose and Orange County.

We know that with all of the apps, blogs, and characters out there, dating can be tough, but TDR believes that a positive, personalized, inspiring approach is the best way to help our clients find love. We are highly motivated and passionate about disrupting the matchmaking business, and we’re excited to be the dating world’s next big thing.

Our team of world-class matchmakers act as personal dating concierges by hand-selecting and vetting every potential match before introducing them our clients. Our matchmakers are known for their compassion, trustworthiness, and genuine desire to help their clients find love. Our matchmakers have all had successful corporate or entrepreneurial careers and want to use their passion for making things happen to directly have a positive impact on people’s lives.

Being a TDR Matchmaker is a full-time, at-will position. Compensation structure is salaried plus commission based. You love people, you love setting people up…so why not take all that positive energy and make it your job?

What You’ll Do

We are hiring Matchmakers in the New York City area. No previous professional matchmaking experience necessary – however, a passion for connecting people and a drive to succeed are vital.

As a TDR Matchmaker, you will be responsible for:

Representing the TDR brand as a networker, speaker, and dating expert  
Leading a high-touch, personalized experience as your clients’ partner and coach throughout the matchmaking process - providing expertise, guidance, and constructive feedback 
Promoting client retention and renewals through exceptional client service 
Generating potential matches from TDR’s database, your personal and professional networks, and at targeted events 
Meeting potential matches in person to vet, present, and orchestrate introductions to your clients  
Attending TDR and community events to promote brand awareness and recruit terrific singles into our pool as potential matches  
Collaborating with other TDR matchmakers to support TDR’s matching efforts 
 
 

You are:

A highly motivated self-starter, positive, ambitious, determined, and confident  
Successful at developing rapport with a wide variety of people, not intimidated by powerful or affluent individuals  
Experienced at providing personalized, luxury services or products to high-end clientele 
Proven in your career, with a track record of success 
A good listener and perceptive about people, with strong intuitive skills  
Able to handle emotionally-driven conversations with tact and positivity   
Passionate and enthusiastic about matchmaking and networking 
Extremely organized and detail-oriented 


Minimum Requirements:

3+ years of full-time work experience; bonus if this includes a role where you managed external clients, accounts, or relationships  
Excellent communication and presentation skills  
At minimum, a bachelors degree from a recognized university; Master’s, professional degrees, and PhDs preferred  
A passion for connecting people

Compensation: 
Base Salary + Bonus Structure ($60K-$80K) 
No equity
