Gigacover is a fast-growing insurtech startup seeking to fundamentally reinvent insurance. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead our business development and partnership efforts. You will be the face of the company to our partners and will have the responsibility of forging strong relationships with our partners to meet our growth targets and support the business objectives of our partners.
You’ll get to learn the ins and outs of a startup, and get to work directly alongside our founders, who’ve worked all over the world in the biggest tech companies, start-ups, and management consulting firms.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to meet our growth targets and support the business objectives of our partners
- Arrange business meetings with prospective partners
- Promote the company’s services, while addressing or predicting partners’ objectives
- Make commercial decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Work with operations to manage partnership contracts, records of sales, invoices etc.
- Collect and share feedback from partners
- Provide on-going support and account management where required
- Work with insurance product team and founders to support insurance product structuring
Job Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in insurance business development - preferably with
- the affinity team of an insurance broker, or
- the direct corporate sales team of an insurer, or
- the corporate sales team of a healthcare or insurance-related business
- Possess a strong understanding of the Singapore insurance landscape
- Possess excellent presentation and communication skills
- Skilled user of Word, Powerpoint, Excel
- Self-motivated and proactive, with effective time management skills
- Passionate about taking ownership of problems and putting ideas into action
- Strong interpersonal skills and a great team player
