We’re looking for a skillful and dedicated Senior Full Stack Developer to become part of our engineering team in Munich. Together with a team of creative minds you are in charge of building scalable systems. You enjoy working with cutting edge technologies and you have the desire to take ownership in an international, smart and motivated team - then Stylight is the place to be for you!

Your Responsibilities

• Develop new features for our website to make style happen
• Continuously develop and deploy backend services
• Build, maintain and monitor scalable high performance architectures to support Stylight’s growth
• Foster technical excellence in the team by working with best practices like unit testing, integration testing or code review
• Within a creative, agile environment you work closely with our product owner and developers from other teams

Your Profile

• You have mastered an object-oriented programming language
• You have a deep understanding of web technologies
• You have experience with scaling a web application including e.g. caching, garbage collection and microservice architectures
• You have a “You build it, you run it”-mentality and bring experience in AWS, Docker and other DevOps technologies
• You have basic knowledge of Linux and a scripting language like Ruby or Python
• You have worked in an agile, test-driven and interdisciplinary environment before

Your Team

• We build software to improve the user experience and monetization of our website
• We are an agile team, with an average team size of five, doing sprints of two weeks
• We code primarily in Java and Javascript
• We visualize our tasks on analog boards
• We integrate Jenkins, Datadog and other services in Slack, plus we trigger deploys from here
