Now is the time to join a fast paced and growing team. This position is based in San Francisco and is part of a global team, with offices in Copenhagen, much of Europe, and Hong Kong.

    We’re looking for a CRM integration/technical manager with strong technical skills who is ready to join a growing CRM team that is building out its B2C email communications and eCommerce operations worldwide. Vivino has over 30 million users worldwide and sells wine in 15 countries across multiple continents.

    To start, you have strong skills in SQL and databases, and the idea of owning the CRM integration (with the platform Simon Data) excites you. You enjoy email development, know HTML and CSS well, and are a perfectionist in getting emails to render flawlessly across multiple email clients. You’ve worked with personalization templating languages before (eg Liquid, Handlebars or Jinja), and enjoy building personalized emails, push notifications, and experiences for users. You work well with others and can excel at being the go-to technical resource for the CRM team of seven managers.

    You will quickly become a Vivino product, merchandising and CRM expert so that you can help drive revenue and keep Vivino users engaged. The work you do will have a direct impact in driving revenue for the company with the satisfaction of knowing you’re helping build the world’s largest wine marketplace.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    * Partner with CRM Managers to deploy personalized emails, push notifications and lifecycle experiences
    * Clarify, capture, and optimize business logic and requirements in order to build complex, multi-layer CRM automations, and ad-hoc campaigns
    * Write SQL to manage CRM integration (with the platform Simon Data) and create relational data tables to drive personalization
    * Build flawlessly rendering emails via HTML, CSS and Jinja, a web template engine for the Python programming language

    QUALIFICATIONS

    * Strong skills in HTML/CSS
    * Strong skills in SQL and databases
    * Email marketing experience, and are comfortable with CRM tools and ESPs
    * A functional understanding of email deliverability and best practices
    * High attention to detail
    * Quick learner
    * Strong communication + language skills and willingness to work with teams in other timezones, including Copenhagen (9 hour difference)
    * Plus: You’ve worked with templating languages before, like Liquid, Handlebars or Jinja.
    * Plus: You’ve worked with email testing tools like Litmus or Email on Acid and understand the challenges of email rendering across multiple clients
    * Plus: Interest in wine

    You will report to the Director of CRM, based in San Francisco.
