Publicis Sapient is looking for Senior Interactive Developer (Freelance/Contract) to join our Technology team. As an Interactive Developer, you will quickly turn visual design and wireframes into functional pages and contribute to idea generation and development. You will work very closely with an agile team of experience designers, visual designers and information architects; coming up with new ideas and ways to implement their designs. You will use your creativity to develop interactive/mobile/web applications that solve our clients' most complex and challenging problems.

Your Impact:

• Design and develop scalable and reusable components and services. Understanding component deconstruct and future-proofing when possible
• Agile development experience to collaborate with the delivery team regionally
• Participate in both experience and technical design
• Validate visual components to ascertain technical feasibility
• Provide robust implementation for processes, automation, best practices and documentation
• Prototype POC, when needed to validate the visual and functional capability
• Familiarity with concepts related to data flow and component-driven architectures

Your Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience hand-coding Javascript, HTML, XHTML and CSS
• Experience in ReactJs is preferred. Knowledge on other frameworks like Angular, Ember, Jquery is a plus
• Knowledge of techniques used to optimize web performance
• Experience working on Cloud - AWS, Google, Azure
• Flexible, open-minded and passionate about new technologies
• Understanding of real-time communication, implementation and pub/sub-methods
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve bugs where required
• Ability to perform unit testing and functional testing
• Fluency in English with good communication skills
• Familiarity with Git
• Relentless learning attitude

 

Set Yourself Apart:

• Knowledge of Sitecore JSS
• Experience in doing code review and refactoring
• Understanding of Databases, CMS and API schema
• Understanding of atomic design principles
• Understanding of design systems and information architecture
• Understanding of Devops process and pipelines
