[CV Team] Kubernetes Engineer - Taipei
$23k – $60k • 0.02% – 0.05%
The Kubernetes Engineers at Umbo Computer Vision design, build and implement cloud-native architectures with Kubernetes and related technologies for fueling up our machine learning pipeline with necessary computation power. The candidates should love working and sharing knowledge with AI experts and be extremely knowledgeable in the Cloud-Native field.
[What you'll be doing]
1. Build and maintain the GPU clusters
2. Build and maintain on-premise Kubernetes clusters
3. Work with AI Engineers and AI Researchers and provide necessary computation infrastructure
[Salary Range]
Depends on your experience and skill set, the salary of this position ranges from NTD 700,000 to NTD 1,800,000 annually with 0.02% to 0.05% share.
[What you'll need]
1. 5+ years of experience working on Linux systems
2. 2+ years of experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt
3. 1+ year of hands of experience with designing, deploying and operating on-premise Kubernetes environments
4. Extensive networking knowledge for operating switches, routers and deep understanding of networking in Linux kernel, iptable, ipvs, nfv, etc.
5. Extensive knowledge of container technology
6. Storage cluster building and management experiences - Knowledgable about SPDK, etc.
7. GPU cluster building and management experiences
[Plus]
1. Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and/or operating VMware vSphere or Openstack
2. HPC-related experience - setting up RDMA connections like InfiniBand
3. Public cloud experience
4. Certificates on the skills above
