VP Engineering - no8.ai｜Meet.jobs

We're looking for a Vice President (VP) of Engineering with experience managing agile development teams. Our VP of Engineering will be responsible for ensuring that products meet design requirements, and deliver a consistent experience for users. You'll be managing an entire team of engineers and developers, collaborating with the product managers and designers, as well as guiding the company's product vision and maintaining compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities:

#Product planning and releasing

-Report directly to the CEO to manage Super 8 platform.
-Help design the product's architecture and technical roadmap.
-Execute Agile development process and conduct CI/CD pipelines with DevOps team.
-Understand and collaborate on complete product lifecycle from concept to execution.
-Recommends new technology and ideas to improve sprints and efficiency.

#Building the engineering team and culture
-Lead, manage and mentor a team of engineers and related personnel.
-Know how to recruit and develop top engineering talent.
-Ensuring execution, maintaining morale
-Handling chaos.
-Account management.
-Maintain and optimize budgets to meet goals.

Requirements:

- BS/MS in Computer Science and technical field.
- Have 5+ years of experience in building technical products, and managing teams.
- Experience architecting, developing, and launching SaaS software products and/or services on AWS.
- Experience managing successful engineering teams including hiring/termination and performance management.
- Experience working with a Node.js . Message Queue(RabbitMQ, MQtt), Lambda.
- Experience working with a large data volume messaging platform development and operation.
- Solid experience in leading agile development process and make sure product delivery as well as quality assurance.
