An exciting opportunity for a CAD Product Design Engineer (Solidworks) for joining an existing Engineering team/organization in Singapore and engage in a diverse and challenging task of actualizing bespoke designs for Clients.
As a Solidworks Reseller, We are dedicated to the design, fabrication, and delivery of innovative, high-end quality precision-engineered products for specialist industries.
Job Description:
1. As a CAD Design Engineer familiar with Solidworks 3D Software, you will be responsible for using Solidworks Software for producing 2D and 3D drawings - You will be using Solidworks Premium Suite of tools, AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to ensure the document management system is kept up to date.
2. Producing General Arrangement drawings using Solidworks PLM Software and Solidworks CAD Software for customer approval.
3. As a CAD Engineer, you will be using Solidworks Design Software for making Engineering drawing/design amendments until the final design is approved.
4. Producing Detail Drawings for 3D Additive manufacture using Solidworks Additive Manufacturing Software, Solidworks Sheet metal, and Solidworks Electrical Software.
5. As a CAD Product Design Engineer, you will be Deeply involved with the use of Solidworks CAD for the preparation of documentation for the Bill of Material (BOM).
Candidate Requirements:
The successful CAD Design Engineer will:
1. Previous Relevant experience using Siemens Solidworks Simulation Solvers, Solidworks Heat Simulation Software, and Solidworks Flow Simulation by SeaCAD Technologies is essential
2. Have a Practical background and experience in using to perform/Manage any of the POS/ furniture/ industrial design Process.
3. Be capable of utilizing Solidworks Synchronous design capabilities for working in teams to provide innovative solutions to design issues.
4. Previous experience working in a CAD design role using Solidworks Generative Design is essential
5. Engineering qualification and Working knowledge in Embedded Solidworks Simulation Tools, such as Solidworks Flow CFD Simulation would be highly preferred however not essential
6. Have Solidworks FEA Software, Solidworks CFD Software, and Autocad Engineering Project Development experience.
7. Previous experience producing drawings using Solidworks Professional Software and Enterprise Solidworks Packages is highly preferred
8. Be capable of using Solidworks CNC Modules and Solidworks CAM Software for creating bespoke designs for the CNC department.
9. Strong and Concise Technical communication skills
10. Ability to work well alone as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
