YOUR PROFILE AND THE ROLE

The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the company's IT infrastructure. You will be in charge of the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs.

• Manage information technology and computer systems
• Plan, organise, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Handle IT budget and ensure cost effectiveness

STILL YOU: 

• Proven working experience supporting organisation's technology needs
• Experience with operating systems and platform patching and maintenance (Mac / Windows / Unix / Linux)
• Experience with automation and monitoring system
• Implementation / support on Office applications and support of end-users
• Linux / Unix – Command Line Interface (CLI) and system administration proficiency
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation (Routing, Firewalls, VPN, ...)
• Be a team player, with a great sense of humour
• Well organized and able to work under limited supervision
• Good knowledge in Cloud computing and virtualization concepts. (Microsft 365, Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Well versed with Configuration Management (e.g. svn, git, RA, Nexus, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, …)
• Expertise in data center management and data governance

YOUR ROLE AT PALO IT 

You will be invited to take part in R&D works done within ​our Practices. You will have the chance to assist or be a speaker at must-attend international IT conferences. You will have the opportunity to write articles for our Blog or specialized press. Genuine ambassador of PALO IT, you will present our offers and take an active role in the development of the company.
