Roles and Responsibilities:
- At least 6 years of Presales/Solution consulting experience.
- Leave people with the impression that you are really listening to them and understand their problem.
- Should be known for being a “team player.” We just can’t emphasize this enough.
- High level of intellectual curiosity. You see opportunity and growth in learning more about what you do and how it impacts others.
- Should have experience selling into accounts with a sophisticated Pre-sales Consulting or Sales Engineering team.
- Should have strong product solutioning acumen coupled with hands-on experience with SaaS platform integration.
- Should have exemplary written, verbal and presentation skills coupled with unparalleled follow up skills.
- Should have domain knowledge of two or more of the following: SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, Marketing Analytics or Programming (even just HTML).
- Influence the improvement of Sales Engineering/presales processes and practices
Requirements:
- Obsessed with solving customer problems.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales/solutions engineering role, with experience in the B2B SAAS space for enterprise accounts.
- A firm understanding of enterprise integration methodologies, best practices and API/SDK architecture
- A firm understanding of the challenges faced by B2C marketers and should be able to come up with a strong strategy to resolve the same.
- Superior organisational skills working with multiple customers and can switch context quickly throughout the day with various competing demands
- Ability to travel 10% to 20%
Pluses:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field is preferred.
- Background in Customer Success, Account Management , project management, or technical pre-sales of digital techniques such as ad platforms and networks, marketing automation etc.
- Technical experience/understanding in any of the following areas: device platforms & architectures, ESP architecture, basic Java & HTML.
