ABOUT THE ROLE
Collaborate with product owners, designers, developers and ML engineers to create a best-in-class experience for our customers. Traditional boundaries of Frontend and Backend don’t exist at CANDIS - we transcend these outdated structures to deliver outstanding, maintainable, and scalable features and services. Think in terms of components and systems while considering a holistic user experience. As a senior developer, you are both an expert coder and ideally a mentor to more junior team members
WHAT YOU KNOW
+++ You have extensive experience with JavaScript and Typescript and know it in depth
+++ Proven track record of delivering scalable and reliable software
+++ You can tell us about architectural patterns of cloud applications (well-designed APIs, data-streaming approaches, etc.)
+++ You are familiar with both SQL and NoSQL databases (we are mainly using MongoDB)
+++ You have expert knowledge about at least one database system (you know how to model/migrate/maintain/scale/gather/analyze data)
+++ You know the challenges of designing Microservices Architectures
+++ You have practical experience with kubernetes or comparable enterprise container solutions (openshift, docker swarm, rancher, mesos, ...)
+++ You have used NodeJS in enterprise production
+++ Experience with distributed systems (verteilte Systeme) is needed
+++ You have an interest in constantly learning how we can improve on building better, more scalable and maintainable solutions
+++ Our tech stack: Javascript, Typescript, Node, React & MongoDB, Kubernetes and its surrounding services

Improving the quality of our data extraction pipelines using machine learning and other approaches while maintaining a high level of accuracy
