About the role:

At Aspire, we pride ourselves on building an amazing team. We are in need of a Business Intelligence Analyst (Intern) to join our very talented team. The right person takes initiative, likes to learn & deals with integrity. This is a great opportunity to:

• Gain experience in a fintech start-up.

• Learn about data analysis and visualization skills

What will you be doing? 

• Utilize SQL to efficiently extract correct data for various internal business users such as Marketing, Risk and Finance team across the region 
• Support ad-hoc data requests from various teams and assist in building necessary dashboards
• Conduct daily maintenance for internal BI tools and KPI reports
• Mine business insights from data; transform insights into action plans
• Identify and communicate priorities on a regular basis to internal stakeholders across the region
• Automate reports by optimizing the data query process
• Document and structure the problem and objective for various BI projects

What will you need

• Recent graduate with a Bachelors/Masters in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business or other analytical field
• Strong SQL for extracting data
• Proficient in MS Office, especially with Excel(Pivot, VLOOKUP) skills
• Structured, and critical and analytical thinking
• Effective planning, organizational and communication skills
• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
