We are seeking a managing editor who can help us build a newsroom that impacts Asia's tech community through insightful journalism and analysis.

Your responsibilities

• Maximize the potential of each team member through mentorship and guidance
• Keep the newsroom fast-moving and efficient, with an eye on achieving qualitative and quantitative benchmarks
• Keep the newsroom a pleasant and stimulating place to work
• Edit stories for grammar, story flow, and content, with the goal of surpassing our readers' expectations as well as driving subscriptions
• Hiring and building a team

Your attributes

• Deep knowledge of Asia's tech industry is a huge plus
• Demonstrable history as a capable business/finance journalist and writer is a must
• Detail-oriented when it comes to editing, but without losing sight of what makes a story compelling and insightful
• An interest in management and mentorship
