The candidate will be joining AiChat Pte Ltd as a AI engineer. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative products and make a significant impact in the industry. You will be supported by the AI engineering lead, application developers and account managers to ensure your success.

Responsibilities 

· Maintenance of AiChat’s current chatbot, evolve existing models and contribute to the development new chatbot capabilities.

· Build on AiChat’s proprietary chatbot framework to provide customization for specific clients and scenarios.

· Apply NLP techniques such as NER and sentiment analysis for Natural Language understanding.

· Provide NLP support for various languages besides English, e.g. Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia and other low resource languages.

· Introduce new techniques, technologies and standards as needed.

· Support account managers in generating analytics insights from textual data as well as structured data.

 

Required Technical Skills and Qualities 

· 2 to 3 years’ experience coding in Python.

· Preferably with 1 to 2 years working experience in analytics, data science role.

· Must have knowledge in Classical NLP: preprocessing techniques, data transformation etc.

· Experienced in statistical modeling, Bayesian statistics or other machine learning and statistical methodologies (clustering, similarity calculation, classifiers, etc.) as well as knowledgeable about their advantages/drawbacks.

· Experienced in NLP libraries e.g. NLTK, genism, spaCy

· Good knowledge in the following: regex, SQL, scikit-learn, numpy, pandas and jupyter notebooks

· A creative mind and strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.

· A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.

· Articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Technical Skills and Qualities 

· Experienced in using Git, Flask Framework and web crawling.

· Knowledge in marketing analytics and customer analytics.

· Believes that visualization is the best way to present data for stakeholders and is able to develop those visualizations.

· Someone who rigorously documents his/her code.

Qualifications 

· Degree or masters in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field.
