A successful Account Manager/Senior Account Manager will take initiative to meet sales goals, hunt for and qualify leads, build positive and lasting relationships with prospective clients, and support future and existing clients in their adoption of SPD’s suite of Digital Energy Solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Account Manager/Senior Account Manager will report to the Head of Commercial & Industrial Sales
- Act as a primary point of contact and be the face of SP Digital for our commercial and industrial prospects.
- Prospect and hunt for new leads tocontinuously build a strong pipeline; leverage existing network, social channels including LinkedIn, and cold calls to drive lead generation, communications and account penetration.
- Independently manage and take full ownership of your sales targets and accounts
- Diligently execute SPD’s sales methodology and document all key steps in the sales process.
- Ensure pipeline accuracy and sales forecast based on evidence and path to deal closure
- Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process
- Be the voice of the customer by contributing product ideas to SPD’S product management
What You’ll Need
- Senior Account Manager: 5+ years of experience with Software, Technology, Solution sales
- Account Manager: 3 to 5 years of experience with Software, Technology, Solution sales
- Sales Experience in EnergyTech, PropTech, Renewable Energy is preferred.
- Sales accreditation, training and certification in relevant sales programs and methodologies
- Disciplined prospector with tireless work ethic
- A true desire to see customers benefit from the investment they make with SPD’s solutions
- Passionate about sustainability and technology to make a difference
- Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success
- Effective communicator, strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Motivated, driven and results oriented
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills
