Who we are
WoTT is building a planetary scale device identity registry and reputation based web of trust, securing machine to machine communication.
We are an early stage startup with commitments to pilot from clients and interest from seed stage investors.
The team is small but strong. The founder is a seasoned entrepreneur known for strong communication, networking and team spirit. The advisors are experts in their respective fields (IoT, blockchain, cryptography) with PhDs from MIT, ETH, Tel Aviv.
What we need
We are looking for a CTO/co-founder to build our MVP, develop the software architecture and the tech road map for the next 12 months.
The WoTT stack covers embedded software, integration with existing web platforms and decentralized technology (blockchain, etc.)
In the next 12 months you will:
* Time split between early concept development (where throw-away prototyping dominates) and product development (where the focus is on building the tech foundation for the new business)
* Oversee architectural decisions and implement key decisions to ensure our platform is scalable and future proof.
* Recruit and hire a team of 3 - 4 developers
* As CTO you will own and manage every part of development
* Be part of the leadership team and contribute to key company strategy and direction.
Requirements
- 5 - 10 years of experience (bonus if in start-up)
- Must be from a software development background e.g. former developer who is able to assess code quality, Github commits, etc.
- Be confident across a breadth of programming languages & platforms and able to go deep on specialist areas (including but not limited to embedded software, cybersecurity, blockchain)
- Experience with open source technologies
- Suit either a current CTO or head of engineering
- Interest in decentralized technologies/distributed ledgers
- Hungry to build something big
