The Medical Technologist will have the ability to perform molecular-based assays and tasks across a number of varying tests including, but not limited to, Covid-19 Testing. 

Under this position the candidate must: 

• Possess the ability to perform molecular-based diagnostic assays/tasks, in particular, real-time PCR according to established operational procedures.
• Be a good team player and able to work with team members to resolve technical issues in the laboratory.
• Work with supervisors to review and troubleshoot procedures and project assignments.
• Maintain complete documentation for assay tracking and results for review/reporting.
• Maintain results master lists.
• Consolidate and periodically review all quality control and laboratory surveillance records.
• Be Able to interpret results and report results according to established operational procedures.

Position Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Molecular Biology, Medical Technology or other related science.
• Entry level are welcome.

Skills

• Basic molecular techniques.
• Computer literacy.
