As an online marketplace, interior designers and other businesses can discover high-design furniture, lighting, accessories and purchase directly from suppliers. With users in over 85 countries, the business is truly global.

    We have a number of high profile investors including Guy Hands (founder of Terra Firma) and the founders of Zoopla, Betfair, sofa.com, and Achica. Having recently completed our Series A funding with a US-based investor (Canvas Ventures) we are building out the team for the next stage of the business.

You are constantly looking for new opportunities to interact with and convince decision makers to trust our product. Learning and developing is a key driver for you and you have a thirst to grow and progress. You thrive in a fast paced environment but are comfortable with medium to long term sales cycles and dealing with multiple stakeholders.

    Your role:
    A unique opportunity to make a real impact in a rapid growth business whilst learning from our experienced and high-performing team. Working alongside our Commercial Director and reporting into our Supplier Team Manager, you will be responsible for onboarding new supplier accounts. You'll be explaining our vision, demonstrating how a partnership with eporta can significantly increase their market reach via a new sales channel, thereby increasing sales with minimal effort on their part.

    You’ll be:
    Strategically prospecting established FF&E brands
    Building relationships with decision makers
    Communicating both face to face & over the phone with suppliers to convince them of the benefits of joining our platform
    Regularly attending industry events such as tradeshows and networking events


    Your skills & experience:
    Innate ability to solution sell
    Excellent, natural communicator with impactful presentation skills
    Tenacious desire to exceed quota
    Demonstrable experience identifying key stakeholders and converting prospects
    2+ years experience in a business development role - with numbers to back up your success
