    We are:
    A fast-growing start-up revolutionising the design industry, a market worth over $700bn annually. eporta is an online marketplace where architects, interior designers and other businesses can discover high-design furniture, lighting and accessories, and purchase directly from suppliers.
     
    With users in over 80 countries, our business is truly global, - and we will soon be expanding from our UK office into another European location, and then into the US. We have a number of high profile investors including a large US venture capital fund, Guy Hands (founder of Terra Firma) and the founders of Zoopla, Betfair, sofa.com and Achica, and have just raised $8m in Series A funding.

    We have ambitious growth targets for the business and the level of service we offer is absolutely central to our growth strategy. This involves handling brand accounts on their behalf and making sure both supplier and buyers get the best experience possible when selling and buying through us.

    You are:
    Someone who’s passionate about having a career in sales. You’re most comfortable on the phone and are able to build relationships quickly with people. You are naturally curious, constantly asking questions and finding information. You will be constantly on the lookout for new information/opportunities by being plugged into trade press and the industry. Your research skills are finely tuned, you are able to find, digest and communicate simply complex information and ideas. You’re ambitious and want to progress, driven by hitting numbers and being successful. Learning and developing is a key driver for you and you have a thirst to grow and progress. You’re comfortable with a fast paced environment, driving testing and change to ultimately do things better.

    Your role:
    This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in a rapid growth business whilst learning from our experienced and high performing team. You will be working closely with all the business development managers to ensure they are set up for success. You will be the first point of contact for all our new members, ensuring they are on-boarded and set up for success. You will be tasked with giving initial demos of the product. You will qualify and mine information to fully understand the opportunity presented and then create these as leads for the Business Development Manager to close. You will provide research support to the team so they are fully informed going into new opportunities.

    Your skills and experience: 
    - Organised and detail orientated
    - Strong telephony skills
    - Strong research skills
    - Previous experience working in telephone sales
    - Ability to manage your time effectively

    - Previous experience working in an interiors company
    - Previous experience selling a product demo

    Salary
    • Base Salary: £25k - £30k
    • OTE Salary: £35k - £40k
