Position Impact

As Gogoro Security Architect - Infrastructure is responsible for developing and implementing enterprise information security architecture and technology solutions to address the current and emerging security and compliance needs of the business. Additionally, the Security Architect - Infrastructure has a keen eye toward the future, understanding where the organization should be headed regarding information security and helping to build the framework to get there. You consistently work with the rest of the Information Security Head, IT leadership, the Legal team and other parts of the business on projects that will regularly innovate information security within the company. The Security Architect - Infrastructure is quick on their feet, loves to take risks and constantly challenges assumptions.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
• Drive end-to-end architecture across security product offerings and lead the execution of critical architectural priorities for senior technology leaders to develop secure products.
• Contributes to the development of the enterprise technical security strategy based on their analysis and understanding of shifts and trends in the business, regulatory/legal/industry compliance standards, and evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and technical security solutions.
• Work with key stakeholders in multiple engineering groups to drive near and long term architecture decisions.
• Build strong inter-personal relationships with peers and other key stakeholders that can help smooth execution. 
• Coach, mentor, and develop interpersonal peers to become more aware of information governance field and standard methodologies.
• Support the review, revision and document security operations changes.
• Analyze identified risks and vulnerabilities to present remediation recommendations.
• Liaise with the security operation services team to advise, analyze and resolve issues across installed security solutions. 
• System and Data Security management: Server baseline management, Security incident and event alerts management, workstation and server security management

 

Qualification

·         7 years experience in information security related field and the experience in IoT industry is a plus.

·         Working knowledge of information management systems, data structures, data analysis, and report generation.

·         Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or GCP platforms

• Demonstrated ability to think analytically, organize thoughts and act strategically
• Strong sense of ownership, initiative and the ability to accept and mitigate risks.
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM are preferred.
