Y3 Technologies is hiring a growing and expanding team of developers as we strengthen and develop our new in-house software products. You will be part of a innovative and passionate team, working towards the one ultimate goal of producing high quality software.

1. Responsible for setting a product vision and strategy. He/she will clearly articulate the business value to the product team so they understand the intent behind the new product or product release.
2. The product owner owns the roadmap and must prioritize building what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives behind the product.
3. Plan what the development team will deliver and the timeline for implementation.
4. Manage product backlog.
5. The product owner is accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product
6. The product owner is responsible for defining the release process and coordinating all of the activities required to bring the product to market. This involves bridging gaps between different functions within the company and aligning all teams involved — namely marketing, sales, infrastructure and customer support.
7. Responsibilities also include managing dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and milestones.
8. Own the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas.
9. Ensures the quality and performance assurance of the product and will work closely with the quality control team to achieve this
10. Analyse competition, liaise with the Marketing department to ensure proper advertisement and positioning of new products
11. Create support and training documents for internal and external users

Job Requirements

• Previous work experience as an Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Marketing Manager or similar role
• Experience managing product using agile methodology
• Familiar with Scrum methodology
• Since this is managerial role, it is important to has similar experience/capacity in Product management
• Experience managing the entire product lifecycle
• Familiarity with market research, consumers’ behaviour and marketing techniques
• Prior experience in supply chain solutions with strong domain knowledge
• Knowledge of project management tools, like Jira, Ms Projects.
• Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
• Have worked and coordinated with remote teams in different geographical locations.
• Able to converse and write fluently in English and Mandarin (in order to liaise with the English & Mandarin speaking associates).
• BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology or similar field
