    Note: This role is salary + commission with annual on target earnings (OTE) of about SGD $115,000-114,000. The commission plan on this role is uncapped. Base salary is $6-8k/mo, depending on experience.

    Tech in Asia Studios connects brands with Asia’s tech community. We produce integrated media, content and events that help companies effectively reach Tech in Asia’s audience to meet their marketing and communication goals.

    Sales Director

    As the Sales Director you will be the most senior member of the Studios business development and sales team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you bring deep sales experience, industry connections and the drive to close strategic 6-figure deals.

    The ideal candidate will understand publishing and content marketing and anticipate client needs. You will also effectively with internal stakeholders such as the account management and creative teams. We are looking for someone who is organized, creative, motivated, and results-driven.

    This is an independent contributor and hunter role with a potential path to sales management.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for driving Studios revenue and carrying a quarterly quota
    • Close long-term deals focused on branded content, partnership content and original content products that are strategically aligned to a clients' comms and PR goals
    • Intuitively understand how to creatively package Studios products, especially branded content, to meet complex client challenges
    • Independently develop and nurture leads
    • Understand overall content marketing and client trends
    • Aiding team in structuring strategic and integrated partnerships

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years experience of successful media, publisher, content and/or B2B sales
    • Proven track record of closing 6-figure deals
    • Relationships in PR & comms and a deep understanding of how decisions are made in content marketing
    • Experience working with agencies, the publisher ecosystem and content marketers
    • Experience reporting on revenue performance and using a CRM
    • The usual stuff for a startup environment: High energy, self-starter; Creative and strong problem-solving skills, adaptability is critical
    • Data-driven decision maker; Strong organizational skills
    • Strong English communication skills
    • You must be in Singapore. Applicants outside of Singapore will not be considered at this time.
