    We are deepc
    deepc is a multi-awarded startup from Munich (Germany) with the vision to bring healthcare into a data-driven and AI-augmented 21st century. Therefore, we are building a next-generation Diagnostics OS to facilitate the fast deployment of medical AI technology into clinical workflows in medical disciplines such as radiology. In a successful clinical test-phase, we have refined our novel concept for a scalable, AI-driven SaaS solution, which currently is passing through the medical device certification process and will be launched in 2020. deepc assists medical departments in hospitals and practices in streamlining their reporting workflows, supporting to maintain a high diagnostic quality even in hectic and stressful work environments, and enabling unforeseen efficiency gains.
    You will lead the product design at deepc and deliver our company identity through excellent UX & UI design of our products and visual design of other external appearances. We are looking for a talented & experienced product designer with an excellent UX/UI skillset to help us bring deepc to the next professional level and define how medical products will be used and built in the future.     Your Challenge

    • Responsibility for the UX & visual design of our products
    • Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple & elegant and our users will love
    • Take a leading role within our team and help make others more productive
    • Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into the most useful and valuable software for our users, working closely with business/users, as well as engineering
    • Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
    • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive team
    • Give and solicit feedback from other team members in order to continually raise our bar for quality
    • Coaching, providing feedback, and sharing your knowledge with your team

    Your Profile

    • Completed studies in product design, human-computer interaction, computer science, visual communications, or relevant industry experience
    • 5+ years of professional work experience in the area of interaction & visual design and excellent command of necessary classical software/frameworks – the ability to script prototypes is a plus, not a must
    • Your portfolio proves your skills in design conceptualization, information architecture, and requirement engineering for digital media
    • Understanding of agile software dev practices & tools
    • Familiarity with leading trends in usability, content strategy, and lean UX methodologies
    • Excellent oral and written communication (English), German is beneficial, but not a requirement
    • You are result-driven and are confident confronting outdated or inefficient processes to help identify & promote best practice solutions
    • Motivated, creative and independent working style
    • You are directed by your analytical skills and map them to the customer requirements
    • You use the right tool for the right job
