Founding Designer - Glean｜Meet.jobs

Glean’s mission is to reduce the complexity of publishing data analytic applications and make data more accessible to non-technical audiences. Glean is looking for a founding user experience designer to provide world-class design leadership to help us achieve this mission. The founding designer will be responsible for defining the product's complete user experience, including the usability, interactivity and look & feel of the product.
This role will own the overall design process, from user research and discovery through to interface design and testing. As a part of the founding team you will wear a lot of hats: you’ll be responsible for developing our brand (or helping decide how to outsource this) and also contribute to marketing and help develop our goto market.

About you:
• You’ve designed data analytics applications, system monitoring applications or applications that support software engineering workflows
• You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of designing high-quality user interfaces
• You are a strong visual designer

Nice-to-have:
• You have worked in Figma and collaborated closely with engineering teams before
• You have experience analyzing data and know some SQL
