IoT Application Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, technical and motivated IoT application engineer to join us! You will be the expert of our IoT application development by identifying, integrating and implementing IoT sensors and network communication modules. Your main goal will be to research and develop viable IoT applications that can meet user requirements and ensure our product is at the forefront of IoT developments.

What You’ll Do:

• Research and develop IoT applications according to customer requirements
• Apply IoT technologies and contribute to Company’s product development
• Support integration of solutions into our Company’s platform in collaboration with our software team
• Work with external vendors and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Work with project team and take ownership including implementation activities such as the consolidation or preparation of design schemes, sourcing and negotiation with suppliers, supervision of contractors, quality control and communication with customers
• Maintain and build up positive relationship with potential and existing vendors, and partners including architect, consultant and contractors
• Effectively deliver and communicate results to our customers and build strong ongoing relationships 

 

Who you are

• Graduated with a Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or Computer Engineering degree (or related technical discipline); Alternatively, you have taken the initiative to learn and have practically developed IoT projects
• At least 3 years relevant work experience in the design or implementation of IoT related project
• Strong knowledge of IoT sensors, preferable E&M and indoor air quality
• Strong knowledge of IoT network protocols like Modbus, Zigbee, LoRa, WiFi, etc.
• Good understanding of the building project works and to source, test, integrate and implement IoT solutions
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Ability to communicate effectively with Company management and rest of team concerning the technology, work progress, client relationship, and support each other’s professional development
• Bias for action
• Deadline-driven, organized and able to multitask
• Passion for technology and for being a part of a fast-growing IOT and SaaS company
