Position

The Software Engineer position is based in Singapore. We are looking for highly driven, talented, and self-motivated engineers to join a team of world-class engineers. Software engineers need the skills to lead the development of any area of a large, scalable, distributed system or application. They will work on the latest, cutting-edge internet/software technology.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Research solutions to technically challenging problems.
• Develop and maintain new/existing code running on the Linux operating system.
• Participate in product design and brainstorming meetings.
• Contribute toward enhancing coding and documentation standards.
• Work with technical support and customers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Work and closely coordinate with QA during the creation of test plans.

Requirements

• Diploma, BS, or MS in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience.
• Excellent programming skills in Python.
• Demonstrable expertise in Linux.
• Proficient understanding of version-control tools, such as Git.
• Hands-on experience with agile practices, like Scrum and TDD.
• Experience with message brokers and queues; SQL and NoSQL are preferable.
• Passion for Accellion’s space and mission.
