We’re looking for a top-tier Chief Technology Officer / VP Engineering (m/f/d) to join Fuzey in London. We are a highly ambitious stealth mode startup and is looking for a key team member to lead the company through the first tech build and early stages of growth. This is a broad role where you’ll be able to shape the direction of the technology and ensure that we have the best people and processes in place to achieve our ambitious goals. You will also be recruiting the first team members and have the opportunity to build your own world-class team.

We are a highly ambitious group and are looking to build the biggest technology company coming out of Europe. We are developing a SaaS-based business focusing on optimizing the entire customer engagement funnel for SMEs in the UK, Europe, and beyond.

Key responsibilities
Lead and develop our initial architecture and overall tech stack
Build and manage tech leads across multiple cross-functional product teams
Define our key processes to ensure we can build, launch and scale our product quickly
Ensure we develop a technology that is built for scale
Working with leaders within the product team and senior management team to help shape the product and technical roadmap
Hiring amazing engineers who care about our mission and align with our values
Set an extremely high bar for our overall engineering function

Key traits we are looking for
You know how to code and love to get your hands dirty
You are an entrepreneurial self-starter and can know how to build a high-performance team
You have leadership experience within engineering in a high growth company
You are passionate about developing high-quality technology
You think beyond the tech stack and are passionate about how the solution helps solve problems for our customers
You like to be “in the dirt” and lead by example
You take pride in your work, striving for quality, and technical excellence
You are motivated by complex challenges and understand how to gather people to solve these challenges
You are open-minded and inclusive in your work style
You ideally have experience with Node.js, React and React Native
