    Nimbus builds and operates premium and flexible commercial kitchens to power the future of food. We provide leading food brands, including DoorDash and Roberta's Pizza, with physical infrastructure that serves as the backbone of their off-premise operations. Our fully-licensed commercial kitchens are optimized for off-premise dining and food delivery and can be rented hourly, monthly, or annually, and our facility front-of-house includes an ordering kiosk, a meal pick-up area, and an event space for community engagement.

    Since we closed our $1.4M pre-seed round in February, we signed a partnership deal with DoorDash, opened our first facility in the Lower East Side, sold out of our long-term kitchens at that location, and generated a waiting list of 40+ hourly kitchen members.

    The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated a number of tailwinds for Nimbus -- the rise of off-premise dining and delivery, the demand for more flexible and capital-light kitchen infrastructure, and high retail vacancies allowing for opportunistic real estate acquisition -- and Nimbus is growing to to address market needs. We are planning to expand our NYC footprint in and into other metros in 2021 and have our long-term sights set on a nationwide network of kitchen infrastructure.

    Role
    As a Business Operations Associate, you will be responsible for building, analyzing, and improving processes that fuel Nimbus’s next wave of growth. In this role, you will work directly with the CEO to tackle strategic projects spanning financial analysis, growth planning and strategy, business processes, and administration.

    Responsibilities
    -Work directly with the Nimbus CEO to create and manage business initiatives from development through successful execution, including formulating and tracking strategic KPI objectives
    -Conduct analysis, develop processes, and streamline operations across all areas of the business, including:
    -General Business Operations: payment processing, workforce management, benefits, culture, and hiring
    -Expansion: market analysis, construction project management, new market launch strategy
    -Legal, Compliance and Risk: entity incorporation, legal and regulatory compliance, insurance, and risk
    -Accounting and Finance: accounting, reporting, and financial modeling
    -Customer Success: customer feedback and communication
    -External Communications: drafting and reviewing communications to external stakeholders

    Requirements
    -2-5+ years of experience in a business operations, consulting or financial services role, including experience leading strategic initiatives
    -Versatile and resourceful with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
    -Quick learner with enthusiasm for picking up new projects
    -Strong communication and organizational abilities
    -Motivated, self-starter, with a gritty, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
    -Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
