    Position Description

    The outside sales specialist at Trash Warrior is responsible for canvassing and converting a qualified b2b lead to a contracted client. While managing the sales process for new business customers, you will develop strategies and tactics that drive revenue growth and quota attainment.

    The outside sales specialist role would understand the specific challenges that prospects and customers are facing, and help them achieve the desired positive outcomes with Trash Warrior solutions. You will develop tight relationships with customers and key partners, while continuing to inform yourself and customers about Trash Warrior’s evolving technology.

    Trash Warrior is a high pace environment, and we are looking for someone who can adapt to a startup’s fast paced environment. It’s important that you develop a strong sense of ownership towards achieving the specified objectives. It is important that this person demonstrates leadership qualities, high ethical behavior, and strives for cross team collaboration.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Get businesses excited about waste & recycling
    • Keep up with potential opportunities, set appointments; learn to close them
    • Update salesforce database with new leads, contact information, and qualifying criteria.
    • Diligently acquire new clients to profitably grow Trash Warrior services.
    • Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract closing
    • Collect all necessary information and documents from clients to help analyze potential cost savings
    • Deliver presentations to clients and groups to demonstrate savings and value propositions
    • Listen to the clients' needs and provide information in real time using provided brochures, iPad, etc.

    Required Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in sales; closing business with a quota
    • Previous solar, waste, or technical product sales experience required
    • Previous Door to Door, canvassing or in-person sales experience required
    • Knowledge & experience selling clients on cost of doing nothing (preferred)
    • Previous CRM Experience Required
    • Available to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional weekend hours.
    • Strong team player
    • Must have reliable transportation, clean driving record
    • Must live or be willing to relocate to the Seattle - the company is headquartered in San Francisco, but you will be covering the greater Seattle market. You might need to travel to San Francisco occasionally for training and team meetings.
    • BS/BA degree required
    • US citizen or permanent resident only: we are unable to sponsor a visa-holder at this point.
    • We will provide you with Trash Warrior sales training
