Senior Fullstack Engineer - Prospective Client X - Compass｜Meet.jobs

About the Role:

You will be part of the Prospective Client Experience team and build best-in-class features to connect prospective clients with Compass Agents and help them collaborate on the Compass platform. You will be instrumental in generating more leads and increasing new business for our Agents.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the tech planning and development of the front end and middleware to support the team initiatives
• Write JavaScript code that is architected for scalability and re-use. Have strong opinions on code structure and modularization.
• Work with our backend engineers to design and implement intuitive APIs and webhooks in Java and Go.
• Collaborate with product and design to move fast on creating solutions to business problems.
• Be a domain expert on real estate technology and products and an empathetic partner to our customers.
• Inspire, recruit, and mentor your engineering colleagues.
• Continually champion improvement by identifying ways to raise the quality bar of the team and systems around you.
• Contribute to many different styles of NodeJS applications and testing strategies while integrating the solutions into other teams’ codebases.

What We're Looking For:

• BS in CS or equivalent training/experience
• 5+ years experience in Node.JS
• 5+ years experience in Javascript and CSS (Typescript a plus)
• 5+ years experience with NPM including modern frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue (Experience with Redux, ES6, Webpack a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in writing complete, well-tested, database-driven web applications
• RESTful API design
• Extensive experience with a major cloud provider, for instance, AWS
• Experience collaborating closely with UX and Product Managers
• High attention to detail and quality
• Familiarity with containerization, microservices architecture, continuous integration, and delivery is a plus
