Job Description:

• Manage a team of highly-motivated data scientists to deliver impactful analytics model and drive the company forward.
• Perform continuous improvements on our initiatives to bring the quality of our analytics to the next level.
• Responsible for planning, budgeting, and leading complex projects involving multiple divisions.
• Responsible for driving data quality throughout the organization.
• Inform, influence, and support strategy implementation and product decisions.
• Partner with teams across divisions such as Commercial, Product, etc to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organization to identify challenges in which advanced analytics will have greatest impact, then implement it.
• Initiate, drive, and lead cross-functional projects involving advanced analytics.
• Contribute in defining strategies and analytical direction of Mekari.
• Research and develop analysis, forecasting, and optimization methods to solve questions & challenges in Mekari.
• Manage the development of data warehouse & centralized data platform, gather requirements while maintaining accountability and impact of the team.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in managing a team of data scientist/data analyst/BI
• 3+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis within a large-scale company or fast-paced environment, using SQL and Phyton
• 3+ years of experience with Big Data/Analytics Platform like R, Phyton is preferred
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
• Familiarity with BI technologies
• Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or related quantitative field
• Experience in communicating and representing results of analysis to senior leadership
• Experience with large data sets and distributed computing
• Experienced in a scalable customer facing ML system
• Experienced on working with multiple cross functional partners and influence decision making based on data
• Have an excellent communication skill to articulate ml-approach solution to stakeholders across division
