The Account Manager is responsible for managing existing clients and driving sales of A.I & Messaging products. This role manages all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, lead management, qualification, product demonstrations, evaluation, close and account care.
Responsibilities
- Develop in depth understanding of the sectors to refine the proposition to the client/prospect and feedback into the product roadmap
- Deliver proactive account management by providing business solutions to clients. Identify, progress and report on new commercial opportunities.
- Generate sales leads through attending industry events, working with telesales, outbound marketing activity and other techniques.
- Present products and services to clients and prospects, specializing in the Messaging, A.I, Marketing and Social CRM core offerings.
- Fully understand the client’s business objectives in order to develop optimised conversational user-journey; provide creative ideas and conceptualising them into a brief that is easily understood by both client and internal tech team.
- Provide strategy to optimise user interactivity, engagement, conversion and ROI with a focus on commercial results.
- Make commercial proposals with input from other relevant teams and achieve order completion by negotiation and deal closing tactics
- Support the execution of a range of Social Messaging Marketing campaigns for clients
- Display organizational and multi-tasking skills, in order to demonstrate efficient and timely coordination of task required of colleagues in offshore and local teams
- Assist in creating an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement
- Playing a positive and supportive role as a member of the team
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to selfplan, carry out and report on activities based on a set of provided objectives.
- A proven track record in at least one other significant career role with clientfacing experience for handling account activities or project management
- High level of presentation skills and confidently able to present materials for sales meetings with ability to identify opportunities and progress discussions
- Familiar with user flow diagram and good understanding of UX design
- Strong practical knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- People skills – will be expected to lead account management activities, work with internal personnel and with Directorlevel clients on a regular basis
- Experience in Marketing Automation/ CRM SaaS Technology/ Digital Marketing Agency is a bonus
