We are rebuilding the Product Hunt mobile app from React Native to native iOS and Android and we are looking for an experienced mobile lead to help us do it.
You will have the opportunity to work on two greenfield projects and shape the Product Hunt mobile experience from the ground up.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing and mentoring your fellow engineers
- Collaborating closely with our product managers and designers to ship great products for the PH community
- Driving your team roadmap, from conception to production
- Leveraging research and data to iterate on these products
- Brainstorming architecture and product decisions with the team
How would you spend your time
- 1/3 managing and mentoring your fellow engineers
- 1/3 partnering with product and design to shape upcoming features
- 1/3 making architectural decisions
You should have
- A track record of leading great teams
- The ability to work with a distributed team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A strong technical background in iOS and Android development
- Experience with backend technologies like Ruby on Rails and GraphQL is a plus
