Responsibilities

• Lead and coach delivery teams to develop solutions and products;
• Develop technical solutions and software architecture design using Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies;
• Interface with product teams for collecting and steering user requirements;
• Interface with customers for articulating solution designs;
• Identify opportunities for process improvements;
• Prepare and document technical specifications;

The lead plays an important role in the software development cycle, gathering requirements and creating solution blueprints for development team(s). This role requires excellent attention to detail, acts as a solution architect, frequently examining functional specifications and translate them into system guidelines that shape software development as well as find ways to align projects with enterprise-level systems.

In addition to guiding development teams, the individual is responsible for conducting research on existing systems and devising solutions that work within those systems, meet directly with clients to demonstrate solutions, answer questions regarding software capabilities and requirements, and work to resolve issues that arise during the development cycle.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 5 years software application development experience;
• At least 2 years working as a technical lead, solution architect or equivalent in an MNCs, preferably gained in the financial services industry;
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Proficient in one of the programming languages, Java/Kotlin/Golang;
• Hands-on experience in full-stack web application development;
• Hands-on experience in unit testing, integration testing and automated end-to-end testing;
• Familiar with Agile development methodology;
• Demonstrated written and oral proficiency in English;
• Technical driven mindset with wide exposure to latest technologies;
• A good team player and communicator with strong interpersonal skills;
• Able to work under pressure;
• Eager to take opportunities to work in a fast-paced start up environment, with a natural willingness to always go the extra mile;

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing blockchain or related systems, e.g., Ethereum, r3 Corda, Hyperledger Fabric;
• Experience with message queues;
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP;
• A certified Scrum master or TOGAF certified;
• Knowledge in data security, cryptography, consensus algorithm;
