The Data Analyst will apply statistical methods to collect, interpret and summarize data as well as make predictions and recommend actions based on data driven findings. This position is a hybrid role in that it is necessary to understand both technical and mathematical concepts as well as recognize how they relate to business needs across various departments.

【Responsibilities】

● Documents all processes and research

● Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions

● Participate in meetings with teams, such as sales, operations, product, and AI Engineering, to learn about their processes and determine which metrics can support their functions within DeepHow

● Create data analysis tools, such as dashboards and Jupyter notebooks, to provide metrics

● Run statistical analysis, such as regression analysis, to determine the efficacy of metrics and identify data patterns and trends

● Analyze information critically and propose creative, data-backed solutions and strategies to business challenges

● Present information logically and in a clear manner using data visualization techniques to peers and clients

● Coordinate with other teams to implement models and monitor outcomes

【Experience and Education】

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, applied math or related field is required; master’s degree is preferred

● A minimum of 1-3 years’ data engineering experience

● Thorough understanding of SQL and Python is required

● Familiarity with NoSQL, GCP and dashboarding tools is preferred

● Experience using business intelligence tools and data frameworks is preferred

● Adept at using data sets to find opportunities for process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action
