    JOB DESCRIPTION
    We are looking for a dynamic Senior Business and Technical Analyst to join the TIP module implementation, Enhancements, and Optimizations of existing modules for one of our Retail customers. Experience: 1) Must have experience working on large-scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business. 2) Should be able to knowledge sharing session on the latest releases in BI tools. 3) Should be able to drive requirements workshop and define objectives clearly. 4) Should be able to understand data and information and convert this into insights. 5) Ability to define the conceptual data model and map with the source system. 6) Experience in deriving KPIs from the data lake and convert them into actionable data. 7) Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills. 8) Around 10 years of experience in BI and around 4 years as BA. 9) Experience working with the full life cycle development process, which includes analysis, design, development, and testing. 10) Must have knowledge of BI tools. Experience with MicroStrategy will be an added advantage. 11) Must have knowledge in Big Data Ecosystem, DH clusters, Integration of Big Data with MicroStrategy. 12) Works with other architects, developers, and data analysts to review requirements and data mart schemas for optimal performance of business intelligence solutions 13) Good to have retail domain knowledge. 14) Data analysis – Must have proficiency with writing SQL, Microsoft Excel. 15) Experience in predictive analysis. 16) Querying Big Data for data understanding and data validation. 17) Understanding and deriving ETL Logic for complex data calculations. 18) Hands-on experience in MicroStrategy Components like MSTR Architect, Desktop/Developer, MSTR Administration, Web, Distribution services, Transaction Services, and SDK. 19) Experience in creating MicroStrategy Schema and application objects such as Logical tables, attributes, facts, Hierarchies, metrics, prompts, filters, consolidations, and custom groups. 20) Experience in Report Services, Dynamic Dashboard, Mobile Dashboards, Report development, and visualization. 21) Experience in working with Logical data models, different types of hierarchies in MicroStrategy. 22) Experience in working with complex MicroStrategy reports using advanced filters, level metrics, transformation metrics, and using pass-through functions in the schema. objects Experience in implementing MicroStrategy security model 23) Experience in Object Manager, Enterprise Manager, Command Manager, and System manager. 24) Experience in performance tuning of various Reports and Dashboards using VLDB Properties. Education: 1) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology. Responsibilities: 1) Lead Requirements gathering workshops with Senior Business Stakeholders in Retail and Finance Domains. 2) Control and own engagement delivery by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationships. 3) Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs. 4) Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results. 5) Driving Kick-off meetings of the upcoming projects. 6) Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff). 7) Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers, and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues, and holding self and team accountable for results. 8) Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with the customer to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies. 9) Provide project-level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan). 10) Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during the QA process. 11) Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive). 12) Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements. 13) Assess business process and system inefficiencies. 14) Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction. 15) Driving Customer education sessions on the new releases. 16) Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation. 17) Should be able to quickly prototype reports/ dashboards in MicroStrategy and lead What-if simulations. 18) Understand the over-data flow from the different source systems and coordinate with each stake holders. 19) Storyboarding of MicroStrategy dashboards and RSDs, coordinating with end-users to understand the problem statements with identifying the end-user needs. 20) Efficiently communicate the user needs and ask an offshore team so that the idea is shared across. 21) Manage changing priorities, change requests, and tracking them in the plan. 22) Experience in applying performance optimization techniques. 23) Experience in upgrading MicroStrategy and applying patches to the existing environments. 24) Experience in coordinating with MicroStrategy Support. 25) Experience in doing Architecture Assessment. 26) Experiencing in creating Automation scripts to manage environments and proper alerting. Required skillsets: 1) Extensible understanding of the Retail and Finance domain with their business models. 2) MSTR 10.x Product suits including Developer, Desktop, Command manager, Integrity Manager, System Manager, Object Manager, Configuration Manager. 3) Manual Installation and Configuration of application across different tiers such as I-servers, Web servers, Mobile, etc: - Silent Installation and configuration of Application on both Linux and Windows. - -- - ServerConnect &integrate with metadata across environment. - Manage data sources & intelligent cubes. - Migration of projects/objects/groups/users between different environments. - Clustering I-Servers symmetric/asymmetric. - Command Manager/Enterprise Manager/Configuration Wizard on both Windows and Linux. - Knowledge of admin activities like project source configuration, project configuration, VLDB properties, security. 4) Project Configuration: - Project configuration. - VLDB properties. 5) User Security: - Users and group management. - Controlling access to data. 6) Managing modes of authentication - Metadata back-up and restoration. - Administering MicroStrategy web and mobile. - Manage secure communication (SSL/encryption). - MicroStrategy license management across different roles. - DR Testing. - AD integration. 7) Reports generation on Enterprise Manager to analyze users and their usage. 8) System Manager to automate processes of project migration. 9) Integration of add-ons such as ESRI Maps and D3 charts. 10) Command Manager Scripting. 11) Hands-on experience in environment capacity planning. 12) Development in any scripting or programming language. 13) Brief knowledge or experience on MS Azure and other cloud service providers. 14) Knowledge of ETL & BI concepts. 15) AWS Cloud services. 16) Snowflake Database. 17) Microsoft SQL Management Studio. 18) Linux Red Hat. 19) Automation through Command manager Scripts. 20) Windows X86 64 bit. 21) Apache Hadoop Eco System. 22) Advanced Excel Functions like Pivot, Charts, etc. 23) Advance Presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. 24) Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot & Data-Iku.
