Role Overview

Revinate is looking for an experienced leader to manage our Infrastructure Platform Services Function. The Infrastructure Platform Services Team leads horizontal functional responsibilities for Engineering in the disciplines of Database Operations, Core OS (Linux/Windows) and Engineering Tools.

You will lead the Platform Services functions and be responsible for its People, Technology and Processes. You will make data driven decisions based on monitoring key performance metrics. This is a technical manager role who will lead teams of senior and mid level engineers. We're looking for a responsive, highly productive professional with deep technical and management experience to support and maintain pace with Revinate’s growing business.

• Obtain complete command of the 3 primary functional responsibilities under Platform Services: Database Operations, Core OS and Engineering Tools
• Complete the People, Technology and Process integrations of Revinate and Navis business entities
• Define, Socialize and Execute at minimum the first iteration of the Platform Services Roadmap

What You’ll Do

• You will lead and own all things Database, Core OS and Engineering Tools function
• Day to day Management of Database, Core OS and Engineering Tools and specific Technical Architecture leadership for the functional areas
• Lead/Drive cross functional collaboration and communication for functional responsibilities
• Version and Patch management. Identify and work down technical debt
• Maintain technical compliance of your functional responsibilities

• 10+ years Engineering Experience
• 5+ years Engineering Management Experience
• 5+ years Expertise in AWS
• BS Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Technical Project Management Leadership

  • Airflow (k8s, ec2), Looker, Big Query, Dynamo, DocDB, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Mongo DB

  • AWS Code Pipeline (Build, Commit, Deploy), Terraform, SignalFX, jFrog
