Onramp Lab is looking for an in-house Writer/Editor to help with freelancer management, including creating content outlines, commissioning and editing content, writing your own content, and putting finished content into WordPress.

Your articles will cover a wide variety of real estate and renting-related topics, including renters insurance. Prior expertise in these topics is not required, but you will need strong research skills in order to become familiar with them on the job.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong editing skills, a willingness to learn and understand search engine optimization (SEO), and impeccable attention to detail. You’ll be joining a quickly growing startup, with ample opportunity to develop your editing skills, learn SEO, train new writers and editors, and progress in your career.

In terms of writing ability, this is not an entry-level job, and you’d be placed in a mid-level within our organization. Preferred candidates will have had experience in another organization writing content with deadlines. You will need to have the ability to write and edit quickly, accurately, and with great care and attention to detail.

Onramp Lab is a Taipei-based company. You’ll be working cross-functionally with our SEO team and designers to build a functional, integrated, and beautiful website that serves people across the US seeking to rent a new property.

【Duties】

• Help manage a team of freelancers.
• Maintain a content schedule.
• Publish pieces to WordPress and ensure that all content follows on-page SEO best practices.
• Write or manage the creation of blog posts, articles, and infographics.
• Enforce website style guide, tone, and other copy guidelines.

【Requirements】

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or above.
• Must have experience writing or editing online content.
• Must have a strong eye for images, infographics, and appropriate style, tone, and substance.
• Must have experience with product or website copywriting.
• Must have demonstrated team leadership and mentorship skills.
• Experience with SEO and keyword research preferred.
