Software Engineer, Full-stack - Mobbin｜Meet.jobs

About the Role

We are looking for a software engineer to work on the Mobbin platform across the stack.

For this role, you will plan and execute on delivering sustainably-engineered experiences that drives value for Mobbin users and customers.

Our engineering team is the foundation on which Mobbin is built upon. We take great care to balance the need for stable technologies yet exercise tact in choosing cutting edge technologies that pays forward to our long term goals. Our tech stack includes Next.js, Vercel, React, TypeScript, Supabase, Postgres, and others.

Responsibilities

• Build features on Mobbin and write tests
• Own feature scopes and collaborate with other team members
• Propose and make technical tradeoffs

Requirements

• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Strong desire to apply software engineering best practices
• Strong desire to make code base infrastructure improvements
• Familiarity in modern web application development
• Familiarity in relational databases

Preferred traits

• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Postgres
• Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and the JavaScript ecosystem
• Appreciates good design

Who can apply?

• Bachelors graduates who majored in computer science, computer engineering, or other similar undergraduate programs.
• Exceptional software engineers, even without formal computing education. This includes software engineering bootcamp attendees.
• Previous startup founders or employees who owned the engineering domain.
