RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own dYdX’s overall research & content strategy

• Grow engagement of the dYdX user base through high quality content

  • You will spend your time thinking/exploring/testing, writing, and driving financial education at scale
  • Content will focus on comprehensive trading and market structure topics with a priority focus on dYdX markets, products, and ecosystem

• Work with the Growth team to define dYdX institutional, pro trader, and retail audience segments and refine a research strategy for each segment as needed

• Release a regular schedule of research and content including blog posts, research pieces, AMA’s/podcasts, Twitter/Spaces, Discord rooms, Youtube channel, Periscope, etc

• Collaborate with dYdX partners to develop and give additional voice to the content

• Actively engage with the broader dYdX user base in community forums

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-10 years experience working in a direct trading or quant/research role at an algorithmic trading firm, market making firm, and/or quant hedge fund
• Deep knowledge of and passion for trading, market structure, and derivatives across traditional, crypto, and DeFi markets
• Strong familiarity with data and data science tools/languages
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop and ship a consistent pace of multi-channel content, and the ability to manage the content distribution infrastructure as needed
• Execution-oriented and self-driven
• Project management, time management, and ability to multitask
• Deep desire to ask questions, understand data, and develop hypotheses
• We are open to full-time, part-time, or contract for this role!

NICE TO HAVES:

• Ideally have an existing personal research brand
• Strong knowledge of crypto markets
