Product Manager - Fraud & Payouts (Remote) - Hopper｜Meet.jobs

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead new product development in our fraud and payouts space.

At Hopper, we have ambitious growth plans and that comes with the knowledge that we need to provide a secure and reliable platform to monetize our vision, minimize fraud, and drive value in our supply chain. The Product Finance team is responsible for fighting against all forms of fraud (such as monetary fraud, compromised accounts, incentive fraud), while working to ensure that a customer’s experience is both as safe and as frictionless as possible. The team is also responsible for identifying and driving value in our payouts product for Hopper and for our suppliers, providing flexible and seamless payments.

As the product manager, you will be directly responsible for leading this development and fostering a culture of operational excellence. As a hands-on leader, you will relish diving deep and getting your hands dirty. Everything we do is focused on customer experience, data measurement and delivering value at speed. We’re looking for someone to not only lead product development, but also take broader ownership of specific services.

What you'll do:

• Build robust, scale-able and high performance fraud prevention tools
• Build new products to give more flexibility and drive more value for our suppliers, around cash management, virtual credit cards and other means of paying out suppliers
• Manage a product roadmap for a set of tools from inception through implementation and analysis: collect requirements, establish key performance metrics, drive execution and report on the impact
• Collaborate closely with data science to dive deep into our data to understand user and supplier behavior
• Work to shape business cases, including return on investment analysis for new product initiatives
• Pare down an ideal tool to the minimum viable product: identify what’s essential for us to know if this is a good idea, what’s not and how we can limit costs and risk
• Understand complex technical issues, discern impact and be able to explain the situation to maximize clarity and drive resolution

About You:

• 3+ years experience as a product manager, especially in the fraud and payments space
• Have a track record of building and launching innovative products which drove tangible outcomes
• Past success analyzing data, drawing accurate conclusions and adjusting strategy accordingly
• Technical depth that allows you to communicate with, understand and earn the respect of world-class engineers and data scientists
• Capable of constructing highly compelling business cases both in writing and in person
