Description
Our warehouse solutions team is changing gears to meet the growing needs of a variety of customers - from a handful of robots to hundreds of robots, from a small team to multiple squads. The team works closely with major 3PLs and eCommerce customers to build state-of-the-art warehousing robotic solutions by leveraging rapyuta.io, our cloud robotics platform, and the surrounding ecosystem. The team’s mission is to pioneer scalable, collaborative, and flexible connected robotics solutions.
This role is for a Product Manager who will work with other Product Managers in the team to define and own parts of the warehouse Pick Assist Autonomous Mobile Robot Solution(PA-AMR) product.
Requirements
The role involves several facets:
- Identify the customer needs and contribute to the product road map
- Work with engineering to write user stories and be a product owner for the sprints
- Work with the business team to identify new use cases
- Assist project management with workflow definition while also reducing the scope creep
- Quantify business requirements and use a data driven approach to prioritize requirements
Key Skills:
- Ability to clearly decipher underlying business patterns from one-off requests; drill down to the underlying business problems
- Capability in writing feature requirements and defining acceptance criteria
- Working in an Agile environment while also being able to plan ahead and get the team to deliver on time
- Working across cross-functional teams
- Prior experience in constructing business cases
Minimum qualifications:
- Bilingual - Native fluency in Japanese and comfortable in English
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- While extremely self-driven, a complete team player with the ability to get along with different stakeholders
- Prior experience in warehouse solutions and creating ROI / business cases is preferable
