Business Analyst role within Business intellgence and Data Tranformation project.

Description

• Accurately capturing and refining business requirement, manage full requirements lifecycle, expert knowledge of JIRA to manage requirements
• Ensuring quality and completeness of requirements is sufficient for delivery, including clear acceptance/test criteria.
• Identifying and documenting data requirements through Business Event Analysis & Modelling (BEAM)
• Driving & Ensuring the prioritisation of requirements, aligned to business benefits
• Ensure end products, reports, data driven applications meet original business specifications and expectations.
• Promote participation and buy-in from business areas for commonality of data definitions, ownership and stewardship
• Support adoption and change in the business from capabilities of the data platform
• Implement, maintain and report business benefits realisation from products and services from the data platform

Nothings a deal breaker but we are ideally looking for someone who has experience -

• Working as a BA within a Business Intelligence or Data setting
• Capturing complex insight and reporting requirements
• Creating user stories ready for delivery
• Defining and documenting KPIs
• Delivering using Agile methodologies
• Of BEAM (Business Event Analysis & Modelling) or similar
• Leading requirements gathering workshops with senior stakeholders
• Conducting gap analysis
• Testing delivered functionality to ensure it meets original requirement and acceptance criteria
• Creating and managing user test cases
• Managing user issues and requests during hypercare periods
• Leading small-medium sub-projects/epics
• Maintain the quality and integrity of our JIRA planning and Boards, including recommending improvements in ways of working
