    Role Summary

    Multiple roles available

    Capital Planning and Programme Management

    Full-time

    Permanent

Application deadlines: 12pm (midday) on 18 February 2022

Working with other departments, the Capital Planning and Programme Management (CPPM) department is at the forefront of shaping extensive building and construction projects at the Museum and master-planning activity.

A strategic review has identified the need to enhance and modify our service offer in response to the evolving needs and anticipated growth in capital activity, resulting in the creation of a range of new roles to complement the existing service. This will enable CPPM to improve both the speed and quality of service while delivering a safe and carefully assessed capital programme. This change will optimise the way that we work with colleagues across the Museum as well as address the need for additional capacity and skill required in order to respond to increased volume with improved management controls.

The benefits realised from the integration of the new roles into the existing operating environment will allow CPPM to respond professionally to the emerging demands and exciting prospects of the two principal workstreams; Critical & Essential Projects and the Rosetta Project; our masterplan.

We are currently recruiting for the following newly created positions, with a further recruitment phase due to be launched.

    • Assistant Project Manager (x3) – £35,485 per annum
    • Site and Project Co-ordinator (x2) – £35,485 per annum
    • Design Manager: South West Energy Centre – £42,804 to £46,784 per annum
