What You Will Be Doing

• Create content such as long-form blog posts and videos

• Distribute our tutorials and posts to different channels (e.g. social media, newsletters, link aggregators)

• Community management and outreach

• Social media marketing

• Operations

 

Qualities We Look For

• Comfortable with using English as the only language of communication

• Familiar with social media (Twitter, Facebook, Quora, Reddit etc.)

• Always brings ideas to the table, enjoys brainstorming with the team, and loves testing out different marketing initiatives

• Motivated and accountable – you’re a self-starter who sees things through to successful conclusions without anyone looking over your shoulder

 

Bonus Qualifications/Experiences

• Related work experience in marketing

• An interest in programming or have learned programming before

• Experience with analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights

• Basic knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator

• Leadership experience
