    Digital Campaign Optimization Manager (f/m/d)

    About the Role

    As a part of our inhouse Global Digital Hub Team we are searching for a Digital Campaign Optimization Manager (f/m/d). This position is preferably based in Munich-Ismaning, Germany, or alternatively in any other Essity office in Europe. The inhouse Global Digital Hub Team is part of the Global Brand Building Team in the Global Brand, Innovation and Sustainability organization (GBIS) and supports Essity’s categories and business areas Consumer Goods, Professional Hygiene, Health and Medical Solutions in developing leading brands for profitable growth.

    To help Essity’s brands with best-in-class digital marketing and performance campaigns a Digital Hub has been created, an internal start-up which focuses on digital campaign activation and optimization based on data, analytics, and new technology. The Digital Hub manages digital marketing campaigns across multiple markets and brands such as TENA, Libresse, Nana, Bodyform, Lotus and Zewa.

    The Digital Campaign Optimization Manager (f/m/d) will work with cross functional teams and agencies to activate, evaluate and optimize multi-channel, multi-brand and multi-market digital marketing campaigns delivering the campaign objectives. You will collaborate with the Digital Managers and Brand Managers of the respective markets, the Global Marketing Managers and our external agencies and media partners like Facebook or Google. As part of the Digital Hub Team, you will work with a team of digital experts, Digital Campaign Optimization Managers and Digital Analysts, reporting into the Global Brand Building and Digital Marketing Director.

    What You Will Do

    • Collect and activate consumer data – work with Global and Local Marketing Teams to collect consumer data and activate it for media and sales (e.g. using existing consumer data base defining sales value segments, building audience profiles, re-targeting)

    • Campaign planning – developing or contributing to consumer journey, media strategy and media planning: define campaign objectives, conversion goals, KPIs, budgeting, timing, media plan (channels and placements), alternative scenario planning

    • Campaign set-up - ensure optimal set up of campaign including social and affiliates templates, keyword planning, naming convention, adaptation of creative assets, tagging, tracking, set up of channels, budget aligning sales or sampling fulfillment partners, etc.

    • Campaign testing – contribute to the development of creative assets, build hypothesis and execute A/B testing experiments to identify optimal creative assets, landing pages and media placement to boost campaign performance

    • Campaign management - activation and optimization of media formats, placement and buying, creative assets and landing pages for Paid Search, Paid Social Media, Affiliates, etc.
      Management of media and creative agency partners, including tracking of budgets and checking accuracy of invoices for defined markets, brand safety and ad fraud checks, etc.  

    • Campaign Integration - ensure integrated holistic campaign planning and execution in digital touchpoints across the consumer journey, aligned to the brand’s overall media plan and campaign messages in other media channels (TV, print, etc.) and digital brand platforms, e.g. brand webpage content, loyalty club, e-commerce, e-retailers

    • Campaign measurement and reporting – continuous monitoring of campaign applying different Analytics-Tools. Collaborating with the Digital Analyst Team for reporting, ROI measurement, follow-up surveys, Business Reviews, including knowledge and results sharing with other stakeholders, etc.

    • Campaign pilots for new categories and markets – lead or support the onboarding of new markets or categories so that they could start working with the Digital Hub

     

    Who You Are

    • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Media Management or other relevant studies

    • Min. 4-5 years of operational experience in planning and managing digital campaigns, focus performance marketing (Paid Search and Paid Social Media) for e-Commerce

    • Platform experience: Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Affiliate Networks

    • Expertise and hands-on working experience in Google Analytics, Google Ad Words, Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Editor, PowerPoint, Word, Excel

    • Experience in e-Commerce and Direct-to-Consumer, focus conversion optimization, UX improvements, increase sales by leveraging existing consumer data base, Promotion Strategies, etc.

    • Outstanding analytical and data interpretation skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to simplify complex topics and to present effectively

    • Fluent in English (writing and speaking) is a must

    • Experience working in an international environment is a plus

    • Self-starter and problem solver, service mentality and team-player

    • Ability to manage projects, multiple stakeholders, external agencies and budgets in a global company matrix organization
