    How to contribute to our vision

    As Head of HR Germany (f/m/x) you will lead our HR country organization and be responsible for the development and mentoring of our HR Germany team. You will be a HR tactical facilitator as well as a change agent, responsible for partnering stakeholders such as our country Managing Directors and our Works Council. You will report to our Global HR Business Partner and you will collaborate closely with your country counterparts in Denmark, France and the UK to develop joint measures for the northern Europe and Middle East region.

    Siemens Gamesa HR has taken bold global steps on a transitional journey during the past two years. We have successfully rolled out Workday as our global HR platform and have outsourced a number of operational HR business processes to an external partner. Germany went live within the new HR operating model during summer 2022 and we are currently in the stabilization and continuous improvement phase of this change journey. You can expect this position to include the following responsibilities:

    • Lead our country HR organization, consisting of local expert teams and local business partners, who partner our business on all HR related issues along the hire-to-retire cycle
    • Facilitate and support organizational development and change management measures on country level
    • Counsel and support local management in personnel & organization development and in the resolution of specific, usually escalated individual local HR issues
    • Act as interface to works council / unions and negotiate local agreements on the application of standard programs and in line with business objectives
    • Collaborate with Centres of Excellence and deploy global HR policies, strategies and instruments on country level according to global HR strategy
    • Communicate and manage the implementation of HR strategy / new concepts, such as talent management, performance management framework, diversity & inclusion initiatives
    • Ensure the right talent capabilities to support the business by driving and facilitating performance management and people development
    • Act as the local Country representative to external bodies as necessary
     

    What you need to make a difference

    Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

    • Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources or comparable education
    • Significant professional work experience in a similar position in a leadership function
    • Strong knowledge and experience in facilitating various HR topics including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Performance, Talent & Succession Management, Compensation, Employee Relations and Organizational Effectiveness
    • Significant knowledge of German employment law
    • Proven track record in the delivery of people support to achieve business objectives through your teams using agreed HR instruments and frameworks
    • Ability to influence, advise and negotiate with top management on country level with regards to general HR issues
    • Positive attitude, open mind-set, analytic and detailed way of working
