Our team is looking to add a full-stack javascript engineer to help build exceptional experiences for a community that expects no less.

This role will work across karat's typescript stack, helping build end to end features for customers

Some of the things you'll do:

• Help build 0-1 product. Conceptualize, design, and code—solving problems that span multiple domains. Creating a decoupled debit card from scratch, analytics tools to help influencers understand their finances, or savings accounts with features designed to empower time-starved creators.
• Influence your team members on best practices, tools and technology through tech talks and discussion.
• Create internal tooling, helping ensure our team has the tools we need to properly support and underwrite the creators we work with.
• Optimize & improve our QA, testing, build, and delivery pipelines as it relates to the user experience.
• Help drive company and product strategy as we change how creators and influencers do business.

What You'll Need:

• Technical Chops: Fluency in React, Typescript and Graphql (big plus if you are familiar with the Apollo Server Framework). Strong SQL skills go far here, as does knowledge of serverless and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Product thinking: You understand strategy and care about what and why as equally as how.
• Collaboration: You're a team player who isn't afraid to ask questions and is equally eager to be a helping hand.
• Focus: We’re a high-growth startup with a busy, remote team. You know how and when to engage or be heads down.
• Ownership: We’re a team that believes in transparency and autonomy, and you channel that into decision making and course correction when things go wrong.
• Bonus: you're knowledgeable and have previously worked in fintech, with influencers or at a startup.
