    Your tasks

    Region Overview
    Within Europe we have over 30 facilities across 17 countries, with 7000+ employees. Our vision is to inspire our customers through leading brands, great service, innovative new products and solutions (leveraging the full JELD-WEN portfolio), while significantly enhancing our EoDB built on operational excellence.
    Role Summary and Purpose
    Leading the Steel frames & glazing product category (Turnover €73m) in the creation and execution of the strategy and delivery of revenue and profitability growth above market.

    Critical Performance Objectives
    • Leading, coaching and mentoring the local product management team to their full potential
    • Developing a product line strategy with associated product roadmap and execution plans aligned with all other functions
    • Managing the product portfolio throughout the lifecycle, focusing on delivery of both revenue and profitability goals
    Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
    • To live by the JELD-WEN Values and lead by the JELD-WEN Leadership Model, to build businesses ethically and safely, to invest in people, to inspire customers through innovations, to deliver on our promises and to improve every day.
    • To ensure adherence with all compliance standards and operate with integrity at all times.
    • Own the category P&L and delivery of KPIs
    • Develop and deliver the category strategy and associated roadmap
    • Creation & delivery of annual category budget
    • Monitor financial performance of the portfolio through the lifecycle identifying and implementing necessary actions to optimise contribution margin
    • Set pricing strategy, tactics and monitor price realisation for the product portfolio
    • Lead product introduction, change and retirement
    • Identify and recommend potential mergers & acquisition targets
    • Provide timely and relevant category reports for senior management
    • Support and ensure adherence to relevant business processes, such as Tollgate, IBP
    • Functional development – lead projects to improve business and functional processes
    • People development – coach & lead the category product management team
    • Perform other duties assigned
     

    Your profile

    Experience / Knowledge
    • Extensive background and knowledge of Product Management, ideally in the building materials industry
    • Strong leadership capability, with ability to coach and develop a team to deliver its full potential
    • Experience of working in a multi-national, matrix organisation
    • Experience of strategy development, execution and delivering growth
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence
    Education / Qualifications
    • Degree in business or related technical field
    Language Skills
    • Must be business fluent in both written and spoken English
    • A second language is desirable, but not essential
