Job purpose

You will design, develop and build robots that are productive, safe to operate and economical to maintain. This includes: Designing and evaluating prototypes. Developing software systems for localization, object detection & tracking and control of the robot.

Duties and responsibilities

• Configuration & testing of devices and sensors used in Robotics applications
• Support on Application Test Program and Hardware Development before release
• Run R&D tests and Factory Acceptance Tests for products
• For relevant components serial numbers registration
• Basic troubleshooting for robots in production floor area
• Documentation on SOPs, test procedure
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

• Education – Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with focus in robotics, mechatronics, or related fields
• Familiar with linux platform and command line operations
• Familiar with Lidar and other sensors used in navigation systems
• Diploma / Degree in Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic Programming skills in python, arduino will be an added advantage
